Greetings all! Just stopping in to say hello and introduce myself. I just started brewing and was looking for more info online and came across this forum. Of all the ones I have looked at, this one seems to be more my speed.

I have my first home brew (a partial mash IPA from Brewers Best) in secondary fermentation right now and will be bottling next week.

I had a Mr. Beer kit a few years ago and did a couple of batches with it, but other priorities prevented me from going any further at the time, so it went to the garage and gathered dust. The new wife told me to get a hobby and quit working so much (gotta love that) so I decided to try my hand at brewing. Ordered my kit from Midwest through eBay and picked up an ingredient kit from Beer Necessities in Alpharetta.

I have a hard time walking and usually prefer to run when I start something new, but from what I have read here and in Papazian's book, it may be best to restrain myself for a while until I get several batches under my belt. Anyway, just wanted to say hello and go back to reading all of the great information and advice on your forums here.

Cheers!

Hello neighbor to the south... I'm about 10 miles north of you in C'Ville. This is a great site with a lot of great information!!

I do some work up that way on the weekends on Old Mill Rd.

Where do you go to buy your supplies? Online or what? I went the shop over in Lilburn today after work just to check it out and pick up a couple of smaller items. Not bad. Place seemed like it had been there for a long, long time. Nice folks and the prices seemed about right to my inexperienced eye. Several people came in while I was there to buy stuff and ask questions, so I assume it's a reliable shop. Anyway, good to be here and thanks for saying hello.
