Hey guys. Just started brewing. I've only made a couple batches. I am looking to start on a green beer for St. Patricks day weekend. I plan on starting it in a couple weeks. Any ideas on a good recipe to use or how to go about making my own green beer? Thanks.

Isn't green beer just a light colored beer with green food coloring?

If you're looking for an Irish brew you can't go wrong with a nice stout or a red ale.

So do you add the green food dye at the bottling stage? Or fermentation?

I would add at bottling. I keep meaning to do this every year, but it never gets done. Most people here are going to tell you brew a dry Irish stout or some other Irish beer, rather than coloring a cheap light beer.
