So I bottled my first brew about....oh two weeks ago?

I tried it after 10 days....it was pretty much flat. Real malty....really not much to it.

I tried it tonight.

What a difference even four days makes!! It was carbed, a nice head, and it really developed a different feel all the way around. Honestly I had a friend over and I was trying explain why it wouldn't be good. I opened a Sierra Nevada to compare with my PA, and he actually preferred mine!

Also to boot the California Common is now in the secondary and I will brew my holiday ale before the end of the week.

I love this...

Nice man! It probably tasted really malty and sweet because whatever you primed with wasn't completely eaten up by the yeasties yet. I made that mistake with my first beer as well and a few days later it was dry and tasty. ;)

Congrats on the success and cheers! :mug:
