I bought a used keezer that is setup for 4 ball locks and one pin lock. I have gotten to the point that I need to use the pin lock. I filled the keg with sanitizer and water and hooked it up. Everything was fine but there was an audible leak from the air side. I unhooked it and checked the popper. Reattached and the same. I replaced the gasket on the post and reattached. Same thing. There is no sound if the airline is not hooked up, but as soon as I hook it up I can hear air coming from that connection. Help please.

EDIT - the post is also tight - I checked.

Does it have a gas in tube .. like the long tube on the other side but just a little shorty? Are you threaded or clamped coming out of the gas connector to the gas line?

Clamped, I checked it and it is tight. It really sounds like it is coming from the plastic.

Dollars to donuts, you're using ball lock post o-rings on a pin lock post.
That will not be reliable as proper pin lock o-rings are slightly wider and thicker than ball lock post o-rings (a fact that escapes most retailers).

A dead give-away is you can't wiggle a gas disconnect without hearing CO2 leaking...

Cheers!

I know I have both, so I will try the other one. It would have been nice if they came in different bags. :smack:

I would certainly do a switch of the gasket on the post as day_tripper suggested, but be open to the possibility that your quick disconnect may be faulty

Ok, I swapped the o-ring and heard the same noise. So, I sprayed it with soapy water and got this -

The bubble seemed to be forming under the gray part of the disconnect. So, bad disconnect?
