My cider has been sitting in the primary for 2 weeks now and the gravity is at 1.020 which seems high. The fermentation seems to be going slow. Is this normal? Should I add something to lower the gravity or just let it be for a while longer?

It could ferment for a month or more depending on the temp and the yeast you used. I would just let it keep going at its own pace.

Is the air lock still active?
Check the gravity in a few days and see if it is still going down.

Also, what was the starting gravity, yeast used, and what temp is it at?
Did you make a starter (for liquid yeast) or re-hydrate dry or pitch the dry directly into the cider?

Completely forgot to check the OG. Wasnt sure if it was necessary with cider. The airlock is bubbling but slowly. Its been that way since day one. The temperature of the room has been fluctuating fron 60 to 70 degrees. We pitched safale s-04 right in with a yeast nutrient.
