I know that 1.010 SG is the magic number to signal the end of a sparge, but does this refer to the actual hydrometer reading from the runoff, or does temperature correction need to be taken into consideration? For instance, 1.010 SG at 160 F is corrected to 1.032 for a 60 F calibrated hydrometer. This is a pretty significant difference. Which number do I use?
