Hello all, So I'm new, I made a batch of what's basically the JAOM although it came from another recipe under a different name, same exact ingredients and process. Question 1, it's been through entire process, and clear as a bell, smooth taste when room temp, but soon as it gets cold I feel like the cop in dumb and dumber when he drinks Lloyd's golden nectar... Suppose I should let it lie for a bit.
Okay, second question, I want to make a big batch, but there's so many possibilities between Metheglins and Melomels, that got me thinking, can I do the big 5 gallon batch of just honey water and yeast in Primary, then rack onto my fruits and shizz breaking the primary down into 1 gallon batches as secondary?

Finally, is there something I can make in the meantime to enjoy while waiting impatiently for the above?
