Grainfather G70V2 firmware update freeze system?

Was getting ready for a brew day this morning. When I powered up the Grainfather G70V2 it asked it I wanted to update the firmware. I pressed Yes. After the reboot the controller screen has a line at the top it is checking if there is a session running. It seems frozen at this point. No reaction if any button is pressed. Left it for 15 minutes. No change. Rebooted several times. No change.

Don't see a reset button anywhere. Have a call into the support desk but haven't heard back yet.

Anyone else encounter this after a firmware update?

I have encountered the same problem on a G40. Mine freezes when it connects to the internet, before that you can move around the menu but have to do it quickly before it connects. Did Grainfather get back to you with a fix?

After an hour or so the controller unfroze and worked normally. The support desk remoted in, ran diagnostics on the controller and did not find anything. It worked normally for a brew session the next day.

At this point the support issue is closed unless I see it again.
