Grainfather controller mods

I am working on modding a Grainfather conical controller #10151 to use as a general purpose PID. I know that you can just wire up an STC1000 to do the job. But if you have one just sitting around, then why not repurpose it? And the GF controller has a couple features that the STC1000 does not.

I am assuming that there are a bunch of people that have upgraded to the new version and have the old model in a junk drawer somewhere.
I have a working prototype and am working on the documentation for it.
Would anyone here be interested in the conversion mods for this controller?

An STC1000 is a simple thermostat. No brains, can't learn. Definitely miles from a respectable PID...
