Hi all, just recently bought the conical pro. Just wondered if anyone could shed any light on why the temperature is constantly rising on day one of fermentation. The target temperature is set at 19° but has been rising all day and is now at 21.6°. Will this harm my beer at all or is this just because it’s fermenting like crazy at the moment and will return to the target temp once things slow down a bit.
thanks in advance for any advice.
cheers

Does your fermenter include a cooling feature? If so, it's not working. If not, during active fermentation you can expect your fermentation temp to rise several degrees above where it started.

Whether ir not it would harm your beer would depend on how warm it gets, the yeast strain used, the style of beer you're brewing, your tolerance for off flavors, etc.
