Grain storage

I want to buy my 2 row in bulk then eventually group buys, my question is this i can get a food grade 55gal barrel for 20~25 bucks of craiglist, but i was wondering if that would be way to big, i found the Vittle Vaults here locally but for the one that holds 55lbs of dog food it cost 70 bucks... what would you guys do?

I use cheap plastic bins from Target. There are 3 sizes there: 6#, 15#, and 66# (so the large ones on the bottom will hold more than a full bag.

They are not completely airtight, so I won't say you'll never get a weevil, but I wouldn't use anything else. I love these bins.

 

[Special Hops]

I use the 5 gallon bucks from Home Depot / Lowes. 2 buckets hold about 1 sack of grain.
