I discovered a lot of moths feasting on my grains in my loosely closed plastic bucket.. however, the grains were in plastic bags independently inside the bucket.
i got rid of most of them, however, i wonder if i put Naphthalene (mothballs) in the plastic bucket (not in direct contact with grain), if it would poison the grains..
what do you guys think?

I really wouldn't. Mothballs are pervasive. I think the smell/chemicals would go right through most plastic bags.

Just clean out the bucket well, and keep it better sealed in the future.

I would not put moth balls near my grain even if they were bagged.

okay, convinced not to put Naphthalene or anything near the grains..thnx for advice.
