Graham crackers vs Graham Cracker Crumbs

Looking at using grahams in the mash on an upcoming brew. However the amount I want is pretty pricey, except if I look at Graham crackers crumbs. The crumbs should do the trick just as well as the crackers I would think. Am I not seeing a reason why you couldn’t use the crumbs?

Obviously they would probably get a little thick and sticky so maybe use rice hulls but other than that, I would think no issue…?

Keebler crumbs are better than Nabisco for pie crust. Don't know about cracker beer.
