List of sites that do not get spidered (mostly government sites that our gov doesn't want showing up on search engines).

I have some others, but damage can be caused with the results, so I will refrain from posting them.

Supposedly, all sites SHOULD have a Robots.txt file to indicate which parts of the site are valid to be searched. Disallowing a site to search isn't a bad thing (I personally implied a "coverup" kinda thing from the wording of that) especially when that bot does things you don't like (for instance, when Yahoo and Google both crawl HBT they up the "Number of users online at once" count.) Del.icio.us's robots.txt for instance prevents all search engines from thumbnailing images except it's own.

Of course, this backfires too - some bots only hit the "Disallow" things to find what you've got "hidden" which is why some places either allow ALL searching or disallow only the stuff they actually want seen by spammers. :p

Damn, I love that show... didn't I introduce you to it?

yes, you told me about it and it instantly became one of my favorite shows. I'm AMAZED that we don't have a copy-cat version in the US like they did with the Office. Every now and then I check youtube to see if there are any new episodes I haven't seen; I'm sure there must be some.

I think it may be done. Like, over completely. Think I read that on a blog somewhere.
