I just met with the surgeon who removed half of my lung three weeks ago. The pathology report came back negative for cancer. He says I'm clean as a whistle, as it were. Of course, I'll have to have a chest x-ray every six months for the next five years, but I can live with that. I'm still a little short of breath sometimes but I'm getting better every day. By golly, I just may have myself a beer tonight!

Wow, glad to hear it. That's got to be a relief.

Good news for shore! But I guess now you can forget your dream of winning the Boston Marathon.
Actually, The doc says in a couple or three months I won't even miss that half a lung. I may not win the Boston Marathon but I may place fairly well in the Lancaster, Pa. Beerathon!;)

Thanks, everyone for all the kind words, prayers and good wishes. I really appreciate each and every one of you. :mug:
