Just found this on craig's list for $25.00, going to pick it up friday.

LOL, completely forgot about that. I'm buying it for $25.00. I have to drive nearly 2 hours to pick it up, so i'll be out about $10-15 in gas.

Is the pot stainless or aluminum?

Well, I think I just answered my own question.

I managed to guess the part number based on that picture, looks like it's an aluminum pot.

Amazon.com list this at $59.99 new. So looks like i'm saving a bit of $$$. I hope the quality of this stuff will get me though a few batches!
