Headin to Vegas in a couple of weeks with a bunch I'd friends who love GOOD beer, any recommendations?

Sin City Brewing is GOOD beer if you're willing to say Bud/Miller/Coors are decent and they're on the strip. But most of it is forgettable. Any local will tell you that there's two Great breweries in town, Big Dog's which is my favorite and Tenaya Creek. Neither of them are super close to the strip but Big Dog's does have a bar on Sahara and Torrey Pines. The plus side is they are both easily reached by cab but it will be minimum 30 in cab fare both ways.

I'm NOT willing :) I better re-phrase my post to say GREAT beer then.... :) thanks for the info

I am partial to The Pub. Burger Bar is good but I think The Pub outshines.

I really like Sin City's hefe. The rest of the beers I would be fine never drinking again. The good news is if you like one of their beers they often run specials. Last time we were there we got two pitchers for $15. I also think Tenaya Creek beers are bland. To each their own though.

I recently saw that they opened a beer place in the venetian. I haven't been there but looking at the menu is enough to know I need not enter. Lone Star for $7. **** that. I can get a free Bud Lite in the casino next door.

The Pub in the Monte Carlo has a butt load of taps

The Pub it was..... A Hugh range of beers to choose from and good entertainment :) good craic was had

I was just thinking local micro brews. All of the places everyone else has listed have great beer menus full of nationally distributed craft beer. I think the T.E. PUB has tenaya creek Hefe and pilsner.

I was also assuming local made… boy, me and my assumptions

I haven’t been to Tenaya Creek… kinda hard to justify to the gf if they don’t have a menu…

Another vote for the Freakin' Frog. Haven't been to any of the others, but the Frog was great. There's also a pretty serious whisky room upstairs if you're into that too.
