Golden Promise full sacks on sale

NB sent a message this morning advertising a sale on Golden Promise full sacks for $84.89 USD.
With shipping and tax my per-pound price works out to $2.56 per pound.

That's an excellent price per bag, but $63 to ship to me seems steep.

Agree, it is high but still less than the per-pound price or the ten pound option.

Great price. Have you looked at RiteBrew? They are local to me but I have read here that their shipping is very reasonable. Big bags maybe split to lessen the shipping costs

I've found when I order from Bobby (Brewhardware.com) that there's a jump in shipping just over 40 lbs. Since my buckets fit 20lbs anyway, I don't mind buying 10-20lbs of malt.

E.g. he has Golden Promise at $1.55/lb. With shipping it's $2.10/lb for 40lbs to my house.

He also has whole sacks on sale for $66 right now.

I have an order started at Ritebrew now and just for kicks added 55lbs of Golden Promise to it. I attached a pdf. I live in Indiana so that is why the shipping would be less. Seems good to me.

Jeez. An LHBS 25min from me charges $1.97 a pound and only $67 for a sack. I know not everyone has a shop near by though.

You’re lucky. The local one here closed a while ago. Everything is mail order or a long drive.
