I have been looking for a book or centralized resource for gluten free brewing wherer both all grain and extract would be covered. Is there something out there and I'm not finding it?

That'd be our forum here. Some of our blogs too, particularly about our malting and grain brewing attempts, both realized and theoretical.

People have experimented with malting millet, quinoa and buckwheat. I can't recall if the people here were successful with sorghum or not. And some of us are thinking about using other enzyme sources.

We're as cutting edge as we can be I think. Any book written right now may become outdated within a week as we try out different methods, grains, flavor balances and so on.

Even recently, there's the colorado company that within the past month, said that they were trying to see about malting large quantities for purchase (50 pound batches).

I haven't come across anything either in or out of the forum as complete as I have here.

It's good to know I'm at the right place. I'll keep digging through the forum.

I've got this crazy idea to go write something about brewing and I'm not talking about a 4 page article, but rather some sort of comprehensive guide to brewing. I also love the concept of crowd sourcing. Hmmm.... I'm certainly not the brewing expert yet, but by writing I find that I need to structure my thoughts and learn more in the process. This would ultimately make me a better brewer.

Right now, just a bunch of crazy ideas running through my head.

It would be good to have a book dedicated to gluten free brewing. I know of a few people who could get together and put out a decent one. I just know how to make gluten free extract beers, and right now that's good enough for me.

I'm not looking for glory here, but i figure if I can learn how to ferment gluten free items and wind up with a beer that would certainly make me a better brewer.

The first sticky should get you there.

The second one should get you past where commercial brewers are. Actually, the first will probably do that too.

With the proliferation of acceptable gluten free commercial options, I’m going to purchase GF beer for my GF friends. I was able to make a couple of nice GF beers, but I didn’t quite understand how clean the equipment would need to be to avoid cross contamination and my non-GF friends wound up drinking the GF-ish beer.

BTW – Agreed that this forum is a great wealth of GF information.

I am having some books related to these but not exactly this. I was searching for this book in the stores in my locality for having the deep view of it and also to acquire better results. Have anyone experienced better results by using suggestions mentioned in this book? Please share your experiences regarding my requirement. Thanks in advance.
