I recently clean my fermenting bucket pretty vigorously and was unable to get rid of the smell. Is that just something that will be there for sometime and is it going to affect future batches??
As long as you clean it well don't worry about the smell it will stay for a few weeks. The glass even smells for a few days after a thorough cleaning. It won't affect future batches
