I'm making an American pale ale, but the only yeast I have right now is wyeast 1007 german ale. Anyone have experience with this? Should be fairly clean, so I guess it'll work or..?

Wyeast 1007 is a nice clean ale yeast. Have used it several times and have a batch coming up soon. I would just go ahead and use it. Will it turn out slightly different than American Ale or another strain? Sure, but I am sure you will still enjoy this!

Thanx! Going to be an interesting experiment... =) I have seen American Wheats that use this strain as well.
