Working on converting a burner to natural gas, and for the life of me I cannot find a valve that has a 1/2 female flare inlet and an 1/2 male flare outlet. Anyone know where to get one? Apparently, I have found one before; years ago when i converted my other burning but can't find one for the life of me.

Otherwise if I could find a 3/8 female flare to 1/2 mip, that would work as well.

FWIW my burner has a 3/8 male flare, and my quick connect gas hose has a 1/2 female flare. I am trying to include a local shutoff valve through the conversion.

I think I have it if I guessed the valve you were trying to use. Supplyhouse.com. I was looking for a flare reducer coupling 3/8"x1/2" but only female flare swivels show up which I don't know how they differ from a coupling but these three will work. I think maybe your were wanting to go with one less fitting but the gas ball valve selection seems limited.

valves are supposed to be on the end of the supply line, so with gas that's pretty much always NPT. i dont think you're likely to find one. probably have to do one, or maybe even two adapters to get down where you want to be with a valve on a 3/8 supply line.

when it comes to gas, they dont make it easy to goof around.
