ive recently gone back to using a pail instead of 6.5 glass carboy for my primary fermenter. only because i feel i have better access to my brew, just in case something happens.( testing purposes, stuck fermentation, etc.) was looking at a back edition of byo the other day, and saw these gamma seal lids.
has anyone else used them here?????

No but I just saw them yesterday and US Plastics & I think they have free shipping again.

I use them at work, but I would not reccomend them for brewing. They are not completely air tight (I've had water leak in throught the lid), and they would be a pain to clean around the inside lip. Not worth it.

They work great if you are carring around buckets of specially tested #30 sand for soil density testing, but not for brewing.
