Im not a yanks fan, but I think its BS how steinbrenner is threatning Torre's job if they do not win this series. I HATE how they think they should win the WS every year because of their payroll.

I was born and raised 15 minutes from Yankee Stadium...yanks fan through and through, I was at the rockies tiebreaker game and am rooting for the rockies, unless they play the yankees.

Steinbrenner doesn't think they should win the WS every year because of the payroll, he wants to win the WS every year because that is what teams play for...really not that difficult a concept to understand. Do the Pirates play to suck every year? I have a feeling they want to win it all and unfortunately many teams don't realize the financial support the front office needs to provide for that to happen.
