Pretty simple question here. If I punch a hole in my (aluminum) brew kettle to attach a ball valve, would I need to worry about galvanic corrosion between the ball valve/washers and the kettle?

Not really. There is a reaction, but any real corrosion is minimal.

Awesome. That's what I thought but just wanted to be sure, thanks!
Not something you need worry about. Many of us have drilled out an aluminum pot and added SS fixtures. Im not quite sure where they each sit in the corrosion chart but do know they will sit well enough together for years.
