Just finished two gallons over the last week. I have a bunch more brewing to be split between me and some work buddies. So, there's more coming. We'll easily surpass 297 gallons.

283.5 + 2 = 285.5

6/16/22: Started a 6 gallon batch of Edworts apfelwein using 4 gallons of generic and 2 gallons of Treetop juice and 1 pack of Montrachet (aka Premiere Classique) yeast and .4 lbs/gallon dextrose.

6/17/22: Started a 3 gallon batch of cider with 96 ozs of grape juice added for a apple to grape juice ratio of 3:1, .4 lbs/gallon dextrose and premiere Cuvée yeast, So....

285.5. + 6 + 3 = 294.5 gallons.

Starting 1.5 gal of caramel apple cider. Used walmart AJ and 1.5 lbs of caramelized sugar with cider yeast. I am trying to decide whether to back sweeten with AJC or more caramel (spices will go in after primary).

294.5 + 1.5 = 296

Rough year for me so far brewing-wise but 4 corny's of 1/2 WF and 1/2 local cider: 2 dry kegs with different Saison yeasts, 1 with Champagne yeast that is a For Shore copy (semi-dry with coriander and sea salt), and another dry with Saison that my foodie buddy made a spiced tea to add to it (actually turned out awesome). 307.25 + 17 = 324.25

Just finished another 5.5 gallon batch, and I am holding off on starting another one. It's foolish because we (my coworkers and I) are drinking the cider at just about the same rate it's been finishing, but I am swamped with other stuff and don't have time to do it today. I might have time to get it going a couple Saturdays from now.

Pure black raspberry 10 gal experimental batch, started last July. Ready for keg when I empty one. Early taste test delicious/intense, but maybe would benefit from some added tannins or blending with some bittersweet apple at 10-20%. I use forced carbonation in my kegerator, and want to taste it carbonated before final judgement. [Will add some apple volumes to this thread when I get my harvest and press finished in November.]

338 + 10 = 348

24 Gallons - from 1/4 tonne of apples - scratted .and pressed by hand. Apples taken from a nearby golf course which is build upon an old orchard ... which has just been left....Happy days !

Sounds great! This thread is a running total of every participants production, so

349 + 24 = 373

1.5 gallons AJ, nutrient, 2 lbs sugar, 2 cloves, 2 cinnamon sticks, 1 star anise, ~5 oz molasses, 4 vanilla rooibos tea bags, 2.5" ginger root... I just hope this won't be overkill.

373 + 1.5 = 374.5

Well heck. It's been a while. I had already gone 'production' by alternating two gallons for one gallon per week. Retired in January and I'm gonna guess six weeks later I bumped that to two.

So since my last post, we'll say this: 6 +(34 wks *2)= 74 Won't add the 'extra' gallon every now and then for Jack or such.

383.5 + 74 = 458.5

It is fall harvest here in Northern Michigan's lower peninsula. Processed all of the apples from my one mature Northern Spy (my ID, suspect as heck). About 450 lbs of apples gave 30 gallons of juice @ ca. 12% brix. In two 15 gallon fermentors, one pitched with Nottingham and one with EC 1118. A good day with friends and my new hydraulic 40L press.

458.5 + 30 = 488.5

Made a hard cider with 5 gallons of locally sourced cider. Backsweetened it with honey from my stepfathers bees to make it semi-dry. Added a few sticks of cinnamon too.

I fermented it under 15psi with my Fermzilla and compared to previous batches, almost no detectable sulfur odor that I'd typically get. After a couple weeks in the kegs it's very clean.

Two more late season efforts, both are first harvests from young trees:
Harrison - 1 gallon pitched with Cotes des Blanc, which failed so added EC-1118, and it took off.
Goldrush - 1 gallon, will pitch with EC-1118 tomorrow. (apples gave a LOT of juice - ca. 60%, at 15% Brix).

499.0 + 2 = 501

Started a 5 gallon batch of my local orchard's cider. I take 3 gallons of their standard mix (sweet with a bit of tart) mixed with 2 gallons of their Goldrush single varietal (tart). It measured an OG of 1.060. Pitched one packet of 71B and then added Fermaid K after 24 hours. Been bubbling away at 68 degrees for 9 days now and still going strong. This is my standard batch I make 1-2 times every year.

Only about 6.5 gallons so far.
Did a mix of apples first.
Bad weather stopped my cider day, still have some decent cider apples to go through.

Guess I have the honor of starting off the count this year. Post whatever cider or graff you make this year here and add your total to the running total to participate.

Made 5 gallons of just apple and 3 gallons of apple / cherry cider to start off the year. First time using TF-6 yeast, hoping I like it!

0 gallons plus 8 = 8

Well, it has been one day short of four weeks @ 2gal/wk, so I'll take tomorrow's activity on 'credit'. Got to add a gallon that I took more patience with.

Well just got a press Tuesday, and a crusher yesterday. Got 3.5 gallons of juice so far, and gonna raid the Orchard again today.
Now to figure out what to do with it.
