I have a bunch of Belma, Calypso, and Citra, looking to use them in a session IPA, but I'm wondering if my recipe has maybe a little too much green matter. I'm thinking about leaving one hop as 15 min addition, and moving the other two hops to 5 min. Here goes:

6 gallons, 83% efficiency

5 lb Maris Otter
2 lb Munich (light)
.5 lb C-60

1 oz Belma - 15 min
1 oz Calypso - 15 min
1 oz Citra - 10 min

2 oz Belma - 0 min
1 oz Calypso - 0 min
1 oz Citra - 0 min

2 oz Belma - Dry hop
1 oz Calypso - Dry hop
1 oz Citra - Dry hop

US-05

OG: 1.039
FG: 1.012
ABV: 3.5%
SRM: 6.9
IBU: 53.5

you could maybe halve the 15 and 10 min additions and add the 1.5oz in a hop stand. You still would have a lot of hop matter. But you should be okay. Would really like to hear how this ends up.

That might be a little much for such a low OG. I just finished a Pale Ale with 1.053 and the following hop schedule and it was a very intense flavor and aroma.

0.27 oz Magnum [13.50 %] - First Wort 60.0 min Hop 3 12.5 IBUs

Boil:
0.54 oz Centennial Type [9.70 %] - Boil 10.0 min Hop 5 5.9 IBUs
0.54 oz Citra [13.80 %] - Boil 10.0 min Hop 6 7.7 IBUs
0.54 oz Centennial Type [9.70 %] - Boil 5.0 min Hop 7 3.3 IBUs
0.54 oz Citra [13.80 %] - Boil 5.0 min Hop 8 4.2 IBUs
0.52 oz Centennial Type [9.70 %] - Boil 0.0 min Hop 9 0.0 IBUs
0.52 oz Citra [13.80 %] - Boil 0.0 min Hop 10 0.0 IBUs
Dry:
1.00 oz Centennial Type [9.70 %] - Dry Hop 6.0 Days Hop 12 0.0 IBUs
0.50 oz Citra [12.00 %] - Dry Hop 6.0 Days Hop 13 0.0 IBUs

Side note: this was a split batch of a malt-fwd Pale Ale. I made one wort, pulled out 5 gallons after fermentation stopped, dry hopped the other 5 gallons. With my grain bill, the non-dry hopped version was under hopped. And the dry hopped version was a little much. However, a 75/25 (dry/non) blend was excellent.

All that said...give it a go! The hop blend sounds delicious.
