I am adding 4 lbs of Raspberries to my American Wheat. How long should I leave it in secondary?

On second thought, should I just dump the fruit into primary? I ferment in a corny keg. Do I need to swirl it a bit, or will the yeast just do its magic?

I prefer racking off of the yeast and on to the fruit.

On fruit, I'd say 1-2 weeks but it depends on what you want. Take a sample after a week or so and see how you like it.

Jaycount: Thanks! Any particular reason you prefer racking off the yeast and on to fruit?

although i was not asked the question, my experiences adding fruit vs racking is there is less splashing (and therefore mess) when you simply rack on top of the fruit.

i agree, i would leave it for 7-10 days.
