So I cold crashed my first beer in what I thought was a fridge. I went away for a couple days and came back and its almost frozen solid. Will this effect carbonation or should I add some yeast once it thaws out?

You will need to add yeast when you bottle. About a third of a packet is more than enough. Oh yea, I'm giggling at your mistake. :p

I am too;) I still think it's a fridge. It's one of those small ones that has the little freezer compartment up top. Next time Ill turn it all the way down. So just put 1/3 pack of liquid or dry yeast or does it not really matter?

I wouldn't waste the money on liquid. Bottling yeast doesn't add anything to the flavor or character. Hydrate a small amount in some pre-boiled water and add to bottling bucket after hydrating.
