i got my rhizomes about three days ago, today when i took them out of the fridge, i noticed they had little snowflake looking frost/ice crystals on the bottom side of them. i went ahead and put them in pots for now. some of them had half inch shoots on them. will this have damaged them or should they be alright.

Likely it damaged them a little, but i would be surprised if you were in any danger.
