I want to get into lagering and I'm looking for a mini-fridge that is just big enough to cold a 6.5 gallon glass carboy, or 6.5 gallon bucket. Preferably something cheap and no bigger than necessary. Does anyone have any suggestions? I can find a lot of fridges online but its unclear if they have enough interior volume for a fermenter/carboy.

I think that any small freezer would hold at least 1 bucket/carboy no problem. The next size up from the smallest would likely hold 2...

With a fridge, it's sort of a crapshoot. There are many, many models and you have to consider the freezer compartment if it has one. I think that 4.6 CF is big enough. At least I think people have made kegerators out of fridges that small.
