I recently received a chest freezer that i'm going to convert to a keezer. This means that my fridge will be freed up to make a fermentation chamber. I currently brew 10 gallons at a time, and ferment in an induction tank. To make room for my fermenter, I was thinking of cutting out the space between my freezer and fridge chamber. Has anyone ever done this? I'd like the expanded space for room to accommodate the tank, and yeast collector.
Also, I'm wanting to use the STC-1000 to control the chamber and the keezer. Does anyone have a recommended way to heat the chamber? I'll do all I can to record the building. Thanks for the tips.
