Hey everyone, I have a stand up freezer that I'd like to convert to a fermenter since my house's AC is ****e and temperatures vary a bunch in the span of a day. I've seen posts about Love controllers and stuff, but I guess I just don't understand how they work or how to install them. I'm not looking to do lagering yet, just ales. Any help would be appreciated. Cheers!

If you want to make it really easy, just get a pre-wired controller. Then all you have to do is plug it into the wall, plug your freezer into the controller and put the temp probe in the freezer. Then when the temp in the freezer rises above the temp you set on the controller, it turns the freezer on. The freezer runs long enough to get the temp down below the set point and then it turns off.

Real easy is the way I roll. Is there a specific model I should look for?? I feel like a 16 year old girl at a car repair store, hah.

Could a small area heating unit accomplish this?? Would I also need to plug it into a temp regulator?? Thanks for all the advice!
