forum options question

I came across a thread where someone said this:

do you self a favor, in your control panel set the post per page to max .....


Anyone know how to do this? I can get to the control panel.. but see nothing relating to this.

Edit Options
Scroll down to third box where it says "number of posts to show per page." (Max is in drop down is 40)
Scroll down to "save changes"

hah my screen resolution was set to where that second section.. i thought it was the last because it ended at the bottom of my screen. didn't think to scroll down to see all those other options
