Forgot a bag of 2 lbs unmilled grain in my car from 1 pm and took it out the next, how bad is that for the grain... in California weather a humid day? :/

I don't know anything in particular on this subject, but reasoning this out leads me to it's not ideal, but, at minimum, the grain sat in a hot silo before it was malted and probably sat in a hot truck en route to the store after malting, so it might not have affected it that much.

Especially if you're using it relatively soon I'd say no big deal. Much better than leaving your yeast or hops in the hot car.
:mug:

Considering that if it is American grain it was sitting for weeks at about a hundred degrees under the sun (not to mention in a granary that is even hotter - then in a kiln for a while) it will be fine.

I've left my grain in the hot 130° attic for a year and it's still fine.
I think a couple hours in a car won't make a difference.
Now. If it was hops or yeast. That's a different story.
