Do you have to refrigerate to force carb, or will it be ok at room temp of 75? I'm new to this...Just got my c02 tank and cornie...:rockin::rockin:

But, I have no keg-o-rater...My amber ale has been in primary for three + weeks
and I'm ready to keg soon.

If I've read right, there's no need for priming sugars during force carb...

If I'm going to let the beer set for two weeks anyway, should I just prime with sugar and let set at room temp for two weeks?

Or can I force carb at room temp an bottle a few for chilling, and trying during the next few weeks?

At room temperature give it 35PSI or so, do this again 24 hours later. Good to go after that. :)

Look up the CO2 volumes you're looking for on the carb charts in the 75F column to find the necessary pressure. It's that easy.

The carb chart that I've seen only goes to 70F..

BTW thanks for your You Tube videos...Very helpful!

When you say, do it again 24 hours later, you mean release pressure then recharge to 35psi, correct?

Thanks for the replies! And helping a Noob:)

If your situation is outside the range on that Carbonation chart, try THIS web site. It has a very wide range. I had that problem also when conditioning my Weiss bier at 3.5 Vol at 65 deg F. For me that was just over 40 PSI

The advice to "do it again" won't work for room temp carbing. When you use these charts, it is dependent on applying the gas constantly for 7-10 days in order to acheive the volumes you are looking for.
