I bottled a pumpkin latte stout on Sunday(Nov 6th) and I noticed this odd foam on the beer yesterday (Nov 9th). This is the first beer I have done with lactose, don't know if that is why. All bottles were cleaned and sanitatized using my normal process. The pictures show three different bottles. Is this normal or potential bottle bomb or infection? Thanks for your help.

Ben

Could it be from a secondary fermentation?

I know, a lot of help there...but it's all I got. I've never noticed anything like that, and I don't remember the last time I used lactose. Been at least five or six years.

That second picture looks pretty scary... Are all the bottles like that or just a couple or just one?

I don't secondary? Not all but most of the bottles. I forgot to mention that I broke my hydrometer right before bottling so I didn't get a FG. It was a 1.066 OG and that was 7 point over the recipe. I left it in primary for 3 weeks and bottled. Maybe it was not done and your right is doing a secondary ferm in my bottle. I just fridged one I will crack it in a bit just to see what's up.
