So i bought a beer kit and am planning on flying down to ecuador with it as well as a few recipe kits. Does anyone see any problems flying with any of the ingredients such as hops, yeast or a bag of yeast nutrient or any other grains?

You should not have an issue but I don't think you can take it in a carry-on bag. I would check with the airline you're flying with.

As long as it's in your checked bagged you are ok.. I have had over a 12 pak in my checked baggage And never had an issue. Taking that stuff on carry on will probably end up having you open up your carry on and explain everything. Good luck!

It may be a little silly, but it is a very important differentiation: you DONT have beer. Minors can purchase hops, yeast, and grain because there is no alcohol.

The only potential issue I could see is transporting foreign flora. I know when I flew to the USA from Costa Rica it was a big deal that some people tried bringing bananas.
