I got lazy... I racked to beers into two kegs (8% IPA US-05) and then left the yeast and 1/2 gallon of beer in the side yard next to the trash cans.

Today it's like 90F outside and I discovery my lazy ways.... with bubbling and flies in the fermenters.

Note: Fermenters are 7 gallon with spigot like this: FerMonster Carboy With Spigot - 7 gal. | MoreBeer

I have OxyClean in them now.

- Should I clean with bleach or stronger than normal StarSan?
- Should I remove the spigots?

Thanks!

A normal, thorough cleaning and sanitizing should be enough, even if those flies were fruit flies (potential acetobacter).

Regarding removing the spigots... I recommend disassembling for cleaning (and sanitizing) every time.
