I just opened bottle of my second batch. A cherry wheat. The flavor is fine but has NO carbonation. It's only been in the bottle for a week. It was in secondary for about 3 weeks before that. I guess it will just take more time for the bottling sugar to ferment??

Yes, it should be ok in about 3 weeks, if you can keep it at/near 70 degrees.
