Hi there. I make no bones about being an absolute beginner, but have the passion of a seasoned brewer!

I've just finished the first stage (5 gallon bucket stage) of a Grape and Plum mix must. I used 1/3 wine grape from my allotment, 1/3 plum from market and 1/3 eating grape.

Yesterday I transferred the delicious cocktail into demijohns and it continues to bubble through my air locks with a reassuring pop each time.

my question is this -
Why is it pink like a flamingo?

What can I do next time to get a redder wine?

Dan

Thanks in advance :)
