Hello all. I am looking to see if I can fix a batch of ead that is already fermenting. Here is my story. Made a batch of mead alst year. Very simply put it was 17lbs clover honey, whatever water needed t fill a five gallon carboy and a vial of White Labs Sweet Mead yeast. That's it. Nothing else. I did not take any readings, sorry. But I racked it 3-4 times over 15 months and bottled. It has a slight to medium alcohol burn. Nothing I can do about it now. However I made another batch the exact same way about one month ago except I used Wyeast Sweet Mead yeast. I took a reading today and it showed 1.190. I apologize as I did not take a starting gravity. What, if anything can I do to avoid alcohol burn in this batch?
