First time hard cider

Could also be a sign of bacteria. Any weird bubbling at the top, or excessive foaming? You'd notice foaming because it would look like soap suds.
 
Yeah I used honey brown sugar and a bit of cinnamon. As soon as is added the nutrients the smell went within a few hours. Now it has a sweeter smell at the airlock. Yeah I read the smell will leave on its on but I also read that I will stick to your cider if it isn't taken care of promptly.
