Hey all,

I brewed my first batch a little while back and tomorrow is bottling day. I have about 16 of these 32oz. grolsch-type swing top bottles, and will purchase a dozen or so normal, 12oz bottles to finish bottling my 5-gallon batch.

I'm wondering, since I've never bottled before, will I be putting the same amount of priming sugar, etc in the 32 oz swing tops as I will in my 12 oz bottles? I want them to have the same carbonation. Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

Thanks!

Oh that will totally solve that problem. I had not even thought about the bottling bucket. For some reason, I expected to measure out priming sugar for each bottle and put it in one by one. What a newbie.

Thanks for your help!

....I measure out sugar for each bottle, albeit not liquid sugar.
It's not that much of a hassle, I keep saying I'm going to get a bottling bucket but I never seem to get around to it.
