Just cracked into my first taste of homebrew (second I've done, the coffee porter is still in conditioning) from my keg, and wow is it good. Not that great in the long run, an english bitter from extract kit so quite basic, but if nothing else it lets me know that all the time and energy I've put into this increasingly time-consuming hobby is worth it. Just need to work on getting a keg fridge next...

Cheers!

That's the great thing though. I was already gung-ho for the whole thing, but it's that verification that I actually didn't screw the whole thing up. That time at least...I know screw ups are bound to happen and I can accept and even enjoy that, but at least the first taste was good. The second, third, and so on have been delicious as well. If I could, I would brew every single day, all day.
