Had my first taste of my first attempt at homebrewing just there and it was a coopers Mexican Cerveza. I left it in the primary for 3 weeks and then 3 weeks in the bottle and then it's been in the fridge for two days. When I tasted it, it seemed to have a slight watery taste to it and was wondering how this could be fixed or are they all going to be like this. Also will keeping them in the fridge for a week or so improve this? Thanks, Kyle

Was it a pure extract kit?

Those to me have always turned out with a very "watery" flavor to them. I remember my first batch using Mr. Beer - it was sparkling pond water. I think if you want more flavor try a recipe with steeping grains next time. They wind up being more flavorful in my experience.

The cooper's kits are generally meant to b3e brewed to 23L,or 6.072 gallons. Try cutting it to 5 gallons next time. That'll make it a bit better.
