I entered this beer into a wort share competition at Coney Island Brewery. It took 2nd Place out of 25 entries. I missed the chance of brewing it on their system by 3 points. The winner was a Chocolate cherry stout.
Mine is a Belgian Pale brewed with Circus Peanuts.

Thank you. I used the Circus Peanuts ( Those orange color, Banana tasting, marshmallow candies )
I used 1# of them for a 5gal batch, in the boil half @30min and the other half at 10min. They do take time to melt down.

I know this is years later, but could I get a recipe and the type of yeast you used? I'm thinking of doing something similar.
Do the circus peanuts add a strong flavor? I am worried that they have preservatives that would hurt the yeast, but it seems that wasn't a problem for you. What was the final taste and your inspiration? Do you think bananas when you think of belgians?
