First Brew

Hey.. First I want to say hi this is my first post on this site and I figured I'd start with posting a picture of my first brew... I made it with a Mr. Beer kit that I received for Christmas... its a cali pale ale I believe.. I know what some of the people on here think of the Mr. Beer kit.. but I think it turned out good for what it is... and now its peaked my interest in getting into brewing as a full time hobby.. already found the local brew shop - just haven't gotten around to buying the 5 gal. kit yet.. :cross:

If it tastes good to you - that's half the battle. Read the sticky up at the top of this forum - there's a whole section on Mr. Beer & some of the guys make some pretty good brews using that setup. Lots of guys got their start with a Mr. Beer kit.

There's no shame in starting the greatest hobby I can think of.

I'm sure you'll find a TON of information on this site. I've only
recently joined and I've been reading, drinking and thinking beer
for weeks.
