pretty new to the home brew thing, and have a few descent batches of beer under my belt i decided to try a batch of wine for SWMBO which i started from a kit bought at my HBS. Anyway will it produce a krausen like beer does?
No. A very active fermentation may get some foaming, but not really very much and not a real krausen. When I make some wines, the fruit floats and makes a "cap" that has to be pushed down, but it's not like a krausen that you get with beer.
