First batch bottled!!!

We just bottled our first batch! Hefeweizen alc 5.3%. Not bad! We are definetly addicted to this great hobby!

Looks like you guys had fun.

One thing to watch out for though is disturbing the beer too much when pouring it through that strainer. The oxygen exposure can lead to off flavours.

What I do if I need to filter when racking to my bottling bucket is to simply sanitize one of those nylon bags, put it on the end of the hose and leave it in the bottom of the bottling bucket. With the end of the hose always at the bottom it fills from the bottom up and remains very still.
